      Hi all,

Paul Williams, Robbin Thorp, Leif Richardson and I are putting together a guide to the bumble bees of North America to be released next year.  We have gathered great live photos of the majority of the species but are still missing some of the rare and difficult-to-access ones. If anyone has digital or film image of any of the following species, we (and other bumble bee enthusiasts) would love to see it.

      B. ashtoni
      B. balteatus
      B. caliginosus
      B. distinguendus (North American colour form)
      B. hyperboreus
      B. jonellus
      B. neoboreus
      B. polaris
      B. variabilis

      Best,
