Private Landowner Technical Assistance Program Announced
Dear Friend of Conservation,
As a recipient of this email, you have been identified as someone who, individually or through your associations, can help the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) deliver on their newly formed partnership: the Private Landowner Technical Assistance Program. The purpose of this partnership is to provide grants on a competitive basis to support field biologists and other habitat professionals (botanists, ecologists, foresters, etc.) working with NRCS field offices in providing technical assistance to farmers, ranchers, foresters and other private landowners to optimize wildlife conservation on private lands.
Organizations interested in competing for this competitive grant opportunity should have a look at the attached Request for Proposals and be aware that the proposal deadline is February 15th, 2011.
Inquiries and comments are welcome.
