      Both those genera are generally uncommon in our area, but do appear both in bowls and while netting.  At this point I can't say that one or the other technique is superior.  

      I wonder if others on the list have different experiences?

      Thanks very much for this. I have been wondering whether Habropoda and Anthophora come readily to the bowls since some localities in Utah have caught very few of these in bowls.  So this is good information.
