- One thing I'd like to see is the ability to send a message (or even a
whole thread) found within an archive search to your e-mail account you
are signed in with (if signed in). I think the archive also needs to be
publicly available, but posting limited to members. Maybe if you are
not signed in, there could be a field to enter and e-mail address to
send a message or thread to.
I realize such a feature may or may not be available in current
list-server software (hint to list-server programmers!). If it is, I
think it'd be a very useful convenience!
The idea is that some people (I for one) use an offline (such as POP)
e-mail as an offline reference. I'd like the idea of being able to
search the archives on the web, and when I find the content I want,
click a button to have it sent to my subscribed e-mail address listed
under my account.
