The River City Chorus (Mason City, Iowa, Chapter) recently had the
opportunity of singing Barbershop to over 100 delegates from more than 60
nations at The Music Man Square in Mason City.

The tour, arranged locally by the Mason City Chamber of Commerce,
represented businesses and industries in these nations. It was organized by
Iowa Senator, Charles Grassley, to demonstrate Iowa commerce to foreign
      country representatives.

The delegates met their Mason City host families in the Square's
Streetscape and were serenaded by the chorus with music from "The Music
Man" and barbershop arrangements of patriotic songs. Included was a special
vocal arrangement of "Stars and Stripes Forever".

The international group appeared to thoroughly enjoy our American form of
      music.
