      If you have ever wanted to sample the curriculum that the Barbershop Harmony Society offers at Harmony U but haven't been able to find the time... this is your chance and it's all included in your International registration!

      Tuesday

      � Nutrition and Exercise for the Singing Edge, 1:00-1:50pm � Priscilla Shaw�Fairmont-Tudor 7/8

      o This class is about how to dramatically improve your health and quality of life and how that directly connects to improvement of vocal production, performance stamina, memory, energy, sleep, mood, and more.

      � Reading Session, 2:00-2:50pm � Adam Scott�Fairmont-Confederation 5/6

      o Come see and sing through the latest in barbershop arrangements offered through the Barbershop Harmony Society. Get new ideas for your ensemble and find new music that will fit your group�s personality and entertain your audience.

      � Vocal Techniques, 2:00-2:50pm � Jordan Travis�Fairmont-Tudor 7/8

      o Come learn or be reinforced with the basics in correct breathing, resonance, posture, and tone.

      � Using Social Media for Ensembles, 3:00-3:50pm � Eddie Holt�Fairmont-Confederation 5/6

      o Setting up Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, and designing �one click install� websites with free promotional tools has never been easier. Come learn how to make it easier to promote your group�s activities and establish a solid online brand.

      o There are many questions in the minds of barbershoppers as to how to follow all rules associated with copyrighted music. This session will dive into the most important elements of copyright basics and how to be sure your ensemble is completely legal!

      o Yes! You CAN help promote a youth chorus! Come see the Ontario Youth A Cappella chorus live, and hear from their administrative and directing team on the do's and don'ts of bringing barbershop to the next generation of singers! Everything from planning rehearsals to recruiting, to fund-raising will be covered in this session! For anyone involved in their chapter or district's youth outreach activities, this session is not to be missed!!

      � Renewed Hope Within Your Chapter, with Fremont, NE Chapter, 1:00-1:50pm � Fremont Chapter�Fairmont-Concert Hall

      o The Fremont Chapter has gone through a bit of a Renaissance over the last 10 years or so�and they did it using common practices and principles that EVERY chapter in the BHS could apply. Come listen and learn from the men themselves what it took to realize their dream and believe the in the hope of growing in size, enthusiasm, and energy, as well as becoming an International Competitor!

      o Chapter leaders, both musical and administrative, get the opportunity to hear how some of our best chapters operate today. Have you ever wondered, why the same choruses have such success, year after year? The answers to your most pressing questions will be found in this session.

      � Gold Medal Hour, 2:30-3:30pm � RINGMASTERS�Fairmont-Concert Hall

      o Here�s your chance to see the 2012 International Quartet Champions up close and personal�be prepared to ask them questions on how they formed, what they do for a day job, or anything else that may be on your mind about our current champs.

      � Coaching Under Glass, 3:00-3:50pm � Brandon Guyton�Fairmont-Confederation 5/6

      o One of the quarterfinal quartets from the International Contest in Toronto will get one hour of coaching, learning the tricks of the trade to make the jump to the Semi-Final round, and you can be the �fly on the wall� during this session. Before your eyes, this quartet will change subtle habits and become more consistent, and you will notice a significant difference.
