      I’m not one for surveys as they rarely get proper follow-up, often without a plan.  But I am one for direct questioning; not from the active membership, rather from those who have quit.  I suggest someone get those phone people calling the inactive’s with one simple question –Why did you quit??  I’ve been inactive for past 5 years – no body ever cared to asked me why.
