      Rockets 2 Sled Dawgs 1

Rockets Parrish score 2 even strength goals and that's enough to will and melt some ice at Arctic! Montreal's Parrish scored his first ES goal on card 10 from Phillips and Morrow. And other than a penalty on each team after the Parrish ES goal, the 1st period ended Montreal 1 ~ Arctic 0.

The ice felt soft to the Arctic Sled Dawgs all game and probably due to global warming. But, Mark Parrish's second goal at card 19 in the 2nd probably took the icy breath out of the Sled Dawgs more than global warming. The Rockets had another chance to increase their 2-0 lead due to a penalty to the Dawgs. But, they couldn't put past Roloson. Montreal 2 ~ Arctic 0 at the end of 2!

The 3rd started off good for the Sled Dawgs, as Brind'Amour from Gionta and Boucher hit on the 1st home ES goal of the year at card 2!!! At card 8 the Rockets gave the Sled Dawgs a great opportunity with a penalty to Mara. But, the trail went cold during the PP and the game ended without anymore additional action

Montreal Rockets 2 Arctic Sled Dawgs 1

      3 STARS
      *Arctic Brind'Amour (1 ES goal)
      **Montreal Miller (27 saves)
      ***Montreal Parrish (2 ES goals)
