This week marked the three month anniversary of the horrific Sandy Hook
Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut. While the gun debate
continues to rage, and the nation tries to heal, virtuoso musicians Edwin
Vazquez and James Grover have addressed the incident and its aftermath with
their poignant song, The World Cries.
Edwin Vazquez, the Santurce Puerto Rican born artist, has worked and recorded
with artists like Julio Voltio, Mary J Blige's No More Drama Grammy Award
winning producer Edwin Ramos, and legends like Paul Simon on the Songs of the
Capeman C.D. recording on tracks Adios Hermano and Satin Summer Nights that
feature Marc Anthony and include artists like Danny Rivera, Ruben Blades, Ednita
Nazario and more. Edwin has also shared the stage with Willie Colon, Marc
Anthony, Tony Vega, George Lamond and recently with Bernie Williams.
James Grover has performed at such legendary venues as CBGB's, The Tunnel NYC,
Luna Park, and has been featured on News 4, Eyewitness News, and UPN 9.

BRIEF BIO ZACH GOWEN
Zach Gowen is a survivor. Coming from very
humble beginnings, he has overcome odds time and again to become an
internationally recognized athlete. Zach didn't let his cancer diagnosis and
left leg amputation at 8 years old slow him down. With the unconditional love
and support from family and friends, he pursued his dream with a fiery passion.
That dream was to become a professional wrestling superstar. And in 2003, he
signed a wrestling contract with the biggest wrestling company in the world:
the World Wrestling Entertainment. He instantly became a household name and his
story touched the lives of millions. But that was only the beginning of the
journey. Now, as a father himself, he realizes his purpose is to spread a
message of hope and love to children and anybody in need of a little
inspiration throughout the world. As a child of a broken home, he recognizes
that children, now more than ever, need positive influences and role models to
look up to. Zach hopes to provide just that. Thank you for being part of the
