      European Centre for Minority Issues is delighted to announce publication of the new issue of the Journal on Ethnopolitics and Minority Issues in Europe (JEMIE). Current issue includes four general articles alongside an expert commentary on Hungarian EU Presidency.

      JEMIE is a peer-reviewed biannual electronic journal dealing with minority issues across a broad range of studies, such as ethnopolitics, democratization, conflict management, good governance, participation, minority issues and minority rights. It is devoted to comparative analyses of current developments in minority-majority relations in the wider Europe.

        Dear fellows,

        Initiative Group Alpbach Moldova is offering two scholarships for participation
        in the European Forum Alpbach.
        "Justice - Responsibility for the Future" is the general topic of the European
        Forum Alpbach 2011 which will take place from August 18 to September 03, 2011 in
        the village of Alpbach in the Tyrolean mountains, Austria.

        The three-week event offers an opportunity to enter into discussion with
        renowned personalities. In a unique atmosphere, speakers from a wide variety of
        disciplines (medicine, economics, politics, international relations, law) will
        discuss burning issues of our times with the participants.


        Scholarships for the European Forum Alpbach 2011 are available for students and
        recent graduates up to 30 years of age, citizens of Republic of Moldova, who
        will be willing to be part and contribute to the Initiative Group Alpbach
        Moldova and European Forum Alpbach.

        Scholarship Value
        The scholarships cover the participation fee for all events of the European
        Forum Alpbach. For the duration of their stay a daily amount of EUR 20.00 will
        be provided as an allowance for accommodation in a students' room (breakfast
        included). In addition a daily amount of EUR 17.00 will be paid to scholarship
        holders to cover the costs for lunch and dinner.

        Application Requirements
        First stage of selection will be made based on the CV of applicants. Also, it is
        required German or English Proficiency. Please state in the message your
        proficiency in German or English: European level B2 or IELTS 6.5 is required.
        Any conclusive proof will be admitted. If selected, the participants should
        present the originals of all documents.


        Deadline for application is Tuesday, July 5th.

        6th.
