      Abstracts should include: Title of Paper, Full Name(s), Affiliation,
      Current Position, an email address and at least 3 keywords that best
      describe the subject of your submission.


      The European Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and
      Research (AT.IN.E.R.) and the Institute of International
      Economic Relations (IIER) organize their 2nd international conference on
      International and European Political Affairs, May 27-29, 2004. The
      registration fee will be $150, covering access to all sessions, 2 lunches,
      coffee breaks and conference material. Special
      arrangements will be made with local hotels for a limited number of rooms
      at a special
      conference rate. In addition, a one-day cruise to picturesque Greek Islands
      will be
      organized.
      The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars and students of
      political studies and other scholars from related disciplines (economics,
      sociology, development and international studies). Special sessions will be
      devoted to Monetary and Economic Aspects of European Integration,
      Fiscal Issues, European Social Model, Comparative Politics, European Union
      Politics
      and Enlargement, NGO, International Organizations, Intergovernmental
      Relations, Political Parties, Democracy, Government (Federal and Local) and
      Political Ethics. Selected papers will be published in a Special Volume of
      the Conference Proceedings. The First conference produced a book
      on the European Union.
