      Subject: [bahl] HELP NEEDED!

Good news – the arena is getting cold!  The compressors were turned on late yesterday and already today we are at 60 degrees in the building and the concrete surface is at 38 degrees.  So far we are on schedule to begin laying ice late tomorrow.  This is where you come in.

Right now the following is what I have for volunteer help to lay the ice and paint the logos/lines.  As you can see, there are many more open slots than we have filled.  If these slots are not filled, we will not get the ice laid in time.  Please email with a time that you would be able to help us get this ice put in and the logos ready and remember that this schedule may change based on conditions in the arena or the amount of help we have.

When you respond with a time you can work, please provide a phone number where you can be reached in case your specified time changes.

I have heard from a few others who have expressed interest in helping with this process but a schedule was not yet available.  If your name is not on this list and you offered to help, please let me know what time works best for you.

Everyone will want to wear warm clothing, warm shoes (those involved with laying the ice will want waterproof shoes or boots).  If you are helping with painting, bring gloves that you can paint in and a clean knee pad if you want.
