Re: [backpackgeartesters] Edit: FR - Black Diamond Mercury 75L pack - Justin Potts
It took me awhile to figure out the déjà vue edit. That last paragraph is not in the performance section on the BGT writer, but it apparently was after outputting the report. It is fixed now, I added in a comment on how the pack carries weight, and I will take notes on the side pockets next time I get it out on the trail.

Excellent use, gotta love the mountain's afternoon thunderstorms. A few edits below for you.
See you in a couple months,
***To start things off, I was a little weary on being able to completely fill this pack before winter backpacking.
EDIT: I think the word you want is "a little leery"
*** (except a water blabber malfunction, but that is a different story)
EDIT: water "bladder"
***The pack is still in excellent condition. Aside from a few scuffs, there are no signs of weakening fabric or seams. The waterproof zippers have loosened up some making them easier to operate. And the pack still has 100% functionality.

EDIT: It's déjà vue all over again… You just repeat the sentence here. A summary summarizes the entire report. Something like, The pack holds a lot but carries quite comfortably other than the fact that the hipbelt pinches my waist if not adjusted just right. Something like that.
Two things I would like to see as a reader or a manufacturer is the pack weight starting out. How did it carry with the 2-week load? Plus in the IR you complained that the side pockets MAY be difficult to use. Were they?
***This concludes my Field Report section. Please check back in a couple of months for my Long term Report.
EDIT: Long Term Report (keep the spelling consistent)
