      SAN JOSE, CA -- The Choral Project, the critically acclaimed Bay Area vocal
      ensemble, is pleased to present their 2nd Annual Women's Composer's Concert,
      "Della Maestra" featuring masterpieces penned by female composers. Women
      have been too long neglected throughout history as masters of composition.
      The Choral Project seeks to bring into light the musical works of women
      throughout the ages. The program will feature music of Aleotti, Fanny
      Mendelssohn-Hensel, Boulanger, Diemer, and many others including Sarah
      Hopkins' hypnotic, international sensation "Past Life Melodies," employing
      overtone singing, and the World Premiere of Nancy Bloomer Duessen's "Et in
      terra pax," in memory of the victims of September 11. The concerts will be
      held on Friday, March 8th at 8:00 pm (International Women's History Day) at
      First Congregational Church, 1985 Louis Road, Palo Alto, and Sunday, March
      10th, at 4pm, at Holy Cross Church, 126 High Street, Santa Cruz.
