The Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers, the world's largest caroling
organization, with branches around the United States, will be holding
auditions for its Bay Area regional branches.

Ideal applicants must be excellent singer/musicians who blend well in an
SATB quartett, can read well and memorize some occasionally complex
vocal arrangements (mezzo and tenor lines particularly challenging),
are interested in a long-term commitment for some good-paying fun.

Profile: youthful, attractive, animated, energetic, playful.
Fees (established) are based on length of individual engagement.
Gigs will range from 25 minutes to 2 hours.

All MOCC'ers are required to supply their own Dickensian-style
caroling costumes and purchase the official MOCC caroling binder
containing over 50 specially arranged holiday carols and songs.
In addition, MOCC'ers occasionally use an assortment of handheld
instruments while they sing and entertain: sleighbells, finger
cymbals, tambourine, kazoo, slide whistle; depending upon the
      arrangement and the voice part.

MOCC has been serving the public since 1977 and has been acknowledged
as the Bay Area's premier caroling organization. Please visit their
      Web site: http://www.PrinceSF.com/artists-novelty-mocc.htm.

For an audition appointment contact either Ellen and Tom Shea
(general central Bay Area), 650-570-6064, or TMOCC@...; or Greg
      Casper (extended South Bay-Santa Cruz/Carmel, etc), 408-224-0272,
      or gcasper@....
