    Lovers of choral music won������������������t want to miss one of these three opportunities to hear glorious choral music from one of Russia������������������s greatest composers. You������������������ve heard his dazzling piano and orchestral compositions, now come hear some of Rachmaninoff 's equally amazing choral works, including selections from his beloved ������������������Vespers������������������ and less well known ������������������Liturgy������������������ -- some of the most moving pieces of sacred music ever written -- plus rarely heard secular romances, "Three Russian Folk Songs" with piano accompaniment, and a beautiful choral concerto that Rachmaninoff wrote when he was just twenty years old.

    These concerts will feature Slavyanka������������������s traditional men������������������s choir, augmented by our new Slavyanka Women Singers, a forty voice ensemble in all, led by Slavyanka������������������s exciting new artistic director Irina Shachneva.
