      On Saturday, August 6, the Stanford Summer Chorus will present the program
      Amazing Grace: Exploring the Roots of the American Choral Tradition,
      showcasing an incredible variety of music from colonial times to the 20th
      Century.

      The concert starts with Californio (early Spanish), goes through
      various periods with American folk songs, work songs, Stephen
      Foster, shape note/sacred harp, gospel/spirituals, and winding
      up in the modern era.

      The concert begins at 8:00 pm in Memorial Church at the end of Palm Drive
      on the Stanford Campus.
