Hear ye, hear ye! Come one, Come all! (AND, please see NOTE below)

Paul's Old Folkies will be at it again this Friday evening, August 5th,
      playing and singing
your favorite folk songs in the casual and cozy surroundings of the
      Main Street Cafe
in Los Altos. A $5 cover charge includes at least 2 hours of fun
      singing, plus munchies
and soda or iced tea. Wine, beer, coffee, and desserts will be
      available for purchase.

Whether you're comin' round the mountain, or from down in the valley,
or from on top of Old Smokey, we hope you'll swing your chariot down
to Los Altos on Friday evening and join us. The more of your wonderful
      voices,
the better! Lyrics books will be provided, and a good time will be had
      by all!

FRIDAY, August 5th--Doors open at 7 p.m. Music starts shortly
      thereafter.

MAIN STREET CAFE--134 Main Street, Los Altos [ 280 S to El Monte exit E
      (loop),
L on Foothill Expwy, R on Main Street, and the Cafe will be on the left
      side. ]

      Hope to see you there!

      [P]
      Paul J. Prochaska

NOTE - Admittedly, this Sing-Along is not strictly "a cappella," but it
may be of interest to local groups, for this reason:
The Main Street Cafe is starting a regular music series, on Friday
evenings, providing an opportunity for local composers, performers, and
groups (instrumental, vocal and A Cappella, included!) a regular
performance venue, _with_ remuneration (usually, the cover). Interested
parties are encouraged to come and hear the "Old Folkies" and see if
you would like to be part of this series. BTW, the coordinator for the
series is Paul Prochaska, leader of "The Old Folkies." See me Friday
      night!
