The renowned San Jose State University Choraliers will present their
final Christmas at the Mission Concert under the direction of Dr.
Charlene Archibeque on Sunday December 12 at 7:00pm. The Choraliers
have won seven international competitions, produced seven compact
discs and have won acclaim for their many European concert tours.
This outstanding choir has been chosen to perform in Los Angeles in
February for the National Convention of the American Choral Directors
Association. They will also participate in one Final European Tour,
and have applied to participate in the Forty-Fourth Annual
International Choral Competition "C.A. Sechizzi" in Gorizia,
      Italy.

Their Christmas concert will feature songs from around the world plus
many new and unusual arrangements of old familiar carols as well as a
group of Christmas Spirituals. Renaissance and contemporary Christmas
motets will come to life in the excellent acoustics of one of
California's largest missions. Bring the whole family and enjoy
the sounds of the season by the 30 outstanding voices of the San Jose
      State University Choraliers.

Our special guest choir will be the Lincoln High School Chamber Choir
under the direction of Lou De La Rosa. The two choirs will combine to
sing the exquisitely harmonized Sargent arrangement of Silent Night
      plus other seasonal favorites.
