BOHiCA's Final Performance tonight!
- Well folks, this is it, your very last chance to see BOHiCA until the
inevitable reunion tour, but of course by then we'll be washed up versions
of our former selves making a pathetic attempt to recapture our former
glory. The last show:
Tonight, Friday May 9th, Dana Street Roasting Company, 8:30, FREE!
We will sing every song we know and possibly several we've never even heard.
We'll be singing from 8:30 until a little after 10, so drop by any time. We
will be selling our full length live CD at the concert for the low low price
of $10. We also still have our demo available for $5 (there is only one
shared track between the two). You can buy both for $13. It's almost
mother's day so bring your mom! Or someone elses mom! The Dana Street
Roasting Company is *still* located at 744 Dana Street (near the corner of
Dana and Castro) in Mountain View. They still sell coffee and snacks. You
still can't sit on the beans.
BOHiCA Wins First Round of San Francisco Cabaret Competition
On Wednesday night, BOHiCA won the first round of the SF Cabaret
Competition, being called the "surprise hit" of the show by its organizer,
Wayne Sutton. OK, in point of fact, the other two groups scheduled to
compete were not able to show up due to a family tragedy and illness. Of
course, now we have the problem of what to do, since Elena will be in Europe
for the future rounds of the competition. Will we recruit a fourth member?
Will we perform as a trio? Will we clone Elena? Who can say? Will there be
an email about it in the future? Almost definitely!
While BOHiCA will, for the time being be no more, our members certainly do
not plan to stop performing. Sometime in the next few days, we will send out
an email telling you what projects each member has coming up and how you can
get in touch with them if you want to stay appraised of their future
