Bring your Valentine and/or loving friends for some hot music from the heart!

Kris Gannon, Crystal Reeves and Friends
with a guest appearance by Out On a Clef
      at Mama Bears Bookstore
      6536 Telegraph Ave., Oakland
      Saturday, February 15, 2003 - 7:30 PM - $ 10
      (all genders welcome)

For those of you who missed the October release concert/celebration
for Kris' new CD, "Songs I Wish I'd Written," this is a rare chance
to see Kris and Crystal perform together again in the Bay Area.

Crystal is a hot commodity in the Ashland, Oregon area where she
makes her home. And it's no wonder. She is a gifted and versatile
      musician....singing, playing fiddle and mandolin....comfortable
playing folk, country, bluegrass, Celtic and classical. She's even
been recruited by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival to add flavor to
      their productions.

Kris made her living as a folk musician in her native Midwest when
she was MUCH younger, but has long since retired from full-time
performing. Some of you may have seen her work as Artistic Director
for Theatre Rhinoceros in its early years, directing plays by Jane
Chambers, Harvey Fierstein and Paula Vogel, among others. Her latest
CD is a labor of love that she's thrilled to have recorded and happy
to share with anyone interested. She's also re-released her album of
original tunes called "Strong Again" in CDR format. These days
you'll see her performing as part of the lesbian a cappella quartet,
Out On A Clef, who will perform a few tunes.

Kris and Crystal have been friends for fifteen years, and it shows in
their ease and silliness with each other on stage. Though it's hard
to synchronize their schedules, they love to perform together. They
hope you'll come away from the evening feeling like you've joined
them for a good jam in someone's living room.

SEATING IS LIMITED TO FORTY (40), SO MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY!!!!!
