      ambasadors to replace him/her...

In the extremely unlikely event of your Ambassador being discarded -
"killed" has no meaning in the B5ccg - you are out of the game.

As far as I know, there is only ONE conflict that allows this to happen and
even that allows you the opportunity to replace with your Ambassador's
      Assistant.

Under normal circumstances the worst that can happen is that your Ambassador
spends a very long time neutralized with Severe damage. Generally, your
ambassador should not be neutralized for more than a single term unless you
choose to leave him that way.

        There are a few ways
        1) Lose Strike at the Heart
        2) If you are NA and a Plague targets a species in your faction and you then make a species ambassador of that species your faction ambassador you will lose if the plague succeeds and discards your ambassador.
        3) If you switch to Drahk and play Prime Minister Mollari your ambassador is discarded.
        4) If you switch to Drahk and play Psi World your ambassador is discarded but not replaced.
        That's all I know of.
