The following story appeared on page A3 of the Monday,
February 2, 2004 edition of the Arizona Republic and
is attributed only to "wire services". I suppose this
wire service didn't see the irony in accusing Arab
television of "anti-Semitism". As with the infamous
      1990 Fabius-Gayssot Law, France's tradition of free
speech and freedom of the press, codified in the
Declaration of the Rights of Man, must be set aside
to please the interests of "God's holy chosen people."

FRANCE TO BAN ARAB TV AIRING ANTI-SEMITISM

Paris--France will take action to ban Arab satellite
      television stations from broadcasting anti-Semitic
programs on its airwaves, Prime Minister Jean-Pierre
      Raffarin said.

Raffarin told Jewish leaders Saturday that he was
revolted by the broadcasts and will propose
legislation to fine those who violate the ban.
