Simultaneously three leading Arab television stations

      8 April 2003 [21:16 Moscow time]

Simultaneously, three leading Arab television stations
al-Jazeera, Abu Dhabi, and Al-Arabiya have come
out with a denial of the report of the possible death
of Saddam Hussein. According to their information the
Iraqi leader and his sons are still alive.

During the day on Monday (7 April 2003) an American
B-1 bomber dropped four 900kg laser-guided bombs on
the residential quarter of al-Mansour, in which,
according to American intelligence agents, Iraqi
President Saddam Hussein and his two sons were at the
      time.

At the sites of the impacts of the bombs craters were
formed that were several meters deep. American media
quoted reports of representatives of American
intelligence citing witnesses who confirmed that
Saddam Hussein had entered the building that was later
      bombed and never came out.
