This is quite close to being the correct color, at least on my computer.  Generally film and to some extent digital cameras show more red than the human eye sees.  Of course the light that a person sees it under will also make a difference.

Just curious is it purple or is it blue?  In the picture it looks more purple. I did see and like the Senora Meldon. Thought it was beautiful.  However, the plant you have is quite beautiful no matter what color it is.  As well as being cold hardy.  Azalea or Rhododenron does not matter it is something to brag about.  Thanks for sharrig the picture.

    Greetings, all...

I'm sending a picture of this Haag hybrid, 'Blue Ridge', from the front of my house. Some of you saw 'Senora Meldon' at the azalea meeting in Athens....I believe this to be a better plant, and is winter hardy in my zone 6a garden in Indiana. Sorry it's not an azalea, but I love it!
