SMALL WIND PAVILION AND INDUSTRY FORUM AT WINDPOWER 2005
Small Wind Pavilion and Industry Forum Highlight Small Turbines in Denver for AWEA’s WINDPOWER 2005 Conference & Exhibition

In response to increasing demand to showcase small wind, the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is offering a “Small Wind Pavilion” in the WINDPOWER 2005 Exhibition Hall (May 15-18 in Denver, Colorado). Along with this premiere display area and a section highlighting small wind in the Exhibit Guide, AWEA will host a “Small Wind Industry Forum” at the national organization’s upcoming annual conference to feature business members involved in the small turbine industry and distributed wind development. But the deadline for inclusion is quickly approaching.

Small Wind Pavilion Reservations and Exhibit Guide Submissions Due March 4
Opportunities are still available for small wind companies and organizations to participate in this exciting new exhibit space at WINDPOWER 2005 along the main aisle next to the luncheon area (see booth #352 on Exhibition Floorplan http://www.awea.org/conference/wp05/wp05exhibits.html). Secured reservations and a brief company description are needed by this Friday, March 4 from exhibitors wanting to locate booths or co-host displays within the Small Wind Pavilion, and to be listed in the new Small Wind display and Exhibit Guide.

AWEA’s Small Wind display will feature an Exhibition Hall map highlighting exhibitors in the first-ever Small Wind Pavilion as well as any other exhibitors located outside the Pavilion that are involved in the small turbine industry and distributed wind development. In order to be listed in the small wind section of the official WINDPOWER 2005 Exhibit Guide, exhibitors must submit a brief description (100 words or less) about the small turbine or distributed wind aspect of their business by March 4 to smallwind@....

Small Wind Industry Forum to be Held May 16
As part of WINDPOWER 2005, AWEA will host a Small Wind Industry Forum open to all conference attendees from 5-7 pm Monday, May 16, providing a tremendous opportunity for Business Members to share their perspectives on key small wind issues.  A focal point will be AWEA’s release of its Small Wind Turbine Market Status Report currently under development, documenting sales records and key growth indicators of the small turbine industry. The forum will also include a legislative update on state and federal programs for small and distributed wind.

Profiles on AWEA’s online membership directory http://my.memberclicks.com/awea, including a new Small Wind Consultants search filter, reveal more than three dozen companies and organizations involved in small wind turbine manufacturing, retail, and service. This active membership base will ensure that 2005 is a record year for small wind – don’t miss out on this invaluable chance to showcase your company and help build the profile of the small turbine industry within the larger wind industry.

With over 4,000 attendees expected along with over 200 exhibiting companies representing the wind industry globally, there is no better way to interact with top wind energy professionals and key decision makers than at the WINDPOWER 2005 Conference and Exhibition.  For more information please visit http://www.awea.org/wp05.html .
