I haven't been very active with my groups. Hello and Welcome to this group. I'm in Hawaii, on the Big Island. I've been growing AV's for many years as houseplants for myself and for gifts. I learned a lot from joining groups and researching on the internet. I don't grow them with lights. I have them on my porch and the bloomers gets transfered into my home or as a gift.
You must have a lot of knowledge on growing orchids. I had about 200 orchids but downsized to about 50. I would love to start an orchid business but I am not business minded.
So sorry that you got sick in Hawaii. I hope Arizona is taking good care of you. Our VOG has been terrible and our Hospitals are very busy.

When I came out I was forced to retire so I moved home to Tucson Az where I live now. I was very depressed and a family friend gave me a large plant rack with 4 shelves and 4, 48 in lights.I planed to grow orchids but I found on e bay AVS for sell , I got my first 5 plants and killed 4 of them. To much love ( over watered). But I learned a little bit and now I have 25 plants and 45 leaves with babies popping up every where. I am planning getting a 2and rack in the spring so I will have room for them. But I am still going to be looking for good homes for a lot plants in the spring.
