The messages are listing email addresses of people that I have never sent an email to. I have not received a message from Yahoo to reactivate my account. I don't understand how something can "bounce" when I didn't do the sending of an email. I'm totally in the dark about this problem, but I do know I'm getting mighty tired of deleting all of them....maybe 10 to 12 a day.

Dear Christel and Group:
The worms that having been going around are playing havoc with cyberspace.
There are many people who do not have virus programs or have outdated ones and
the infections just keep spreading and are now affecting the websites. Since
Yahoo handles so many groups, there is a lot of trash that gets out and the
ISPs block Yahoo without a blink of the eye.
The message you received to reactive your account is probably the result of
Yahoo being blocked or a personal program bouncing the message because of a
word or just because. When this happens, your mail is returned as "not
deliverable" and future deliveries are suspended. Then in your groups you are placed
on a "Bouncing List." Each group has a list of members who are bouncing.
After a period of time a probe is made to see if the situation still exists.
If your mail is delivered you are restored to "Normal." If the message is
rejected again, you stay on the list.
If your ISP is blocking the messages, you can ask them to lift the ban. That
usually doesn't work. If you have blocked the messages, correct you computer
so they will be accepted again.
I review the list once a week (Sunday) and send out probes hoping that will
correct some of the problems. Yahoo also sends out probes once a week. I
also, try to activate any account that shows to be normal but not active.
Until the worm culprits are caught, I'll try to check the Bouncing List
daily. This is show time in our area and I have a busy schedule for judging.
If anyone is having problems, please contact me.
