How long are they? Symphilids are white or grayish colored.
Sometimes they are mistaken for Springtails. They have 2 horns or
feelers on their heads and I think 12 pairs of legs. They like damp
soil and feed on fungi and root hairs of the plants. Treating the
plants with a soil insecticide is best. Is there any other
information you can furnish for a better answer. Meantime, isolate
the plants that are affected. Put them in plastic bags and seal them
tight. You might be give to get a better description.
