Thank you Michelle, Elena, Tom and everyone else, for all your thoughts &
        prayers.

Jackson is still in pediatric ICU. He surprised doctors by his fever
dropping down to 100 today (they anticipated he'd be at 102 for a couple
days). It was a febrile seizure. The pneumonia was caused by him aspirating
into his lungs. The ear infection is much better, but the sinus infection
has been really tough on him. His spinal tap came back normal and his EKG
has been showing no signs that he is still having seizures. His right side
was stiff, but has loosened up and his brain shows to be the same on both
sides (that is good). The big problem is the length of time for the
seizure. The doctors had hoped that he had multiple seizures, but it appears
that he had one long seizure. The seizure lasted for 45 minutes which has
everyone scared. He is in the best pediatric hospital in the state, and they
are calling in a lot of specialists because of the length of the seizure. We
are hoping and praying that there isn't any brain damage. Hoping they will
take him out of ICU... no word on that yet. They are still giving him
breathing treatments and suctioning out his lungs every 4 hours (he has
asthma on top of all of it). Hopefully he will come out of this okay. Also
hope that my sister and her husband can get a couple hours of sleep sometime
        soon.

        Thanks again,

        Emily aka Jack's Aunt 3yrs 10mo

            Dear Emily,

Thanks for the report on Jackson, that was an
unusually long siezure. Don't worry too much though,
seizures in autism mostly happen when they are young
and they grow out of them later. That will probably
happen with Jackson, but it is good that there are
good doctors there overseeing the problem. We'll keep
him in our thoughts and prayers.

            Tom
