What are you taking ba? I just went to the doctor yesterday, and he just gave me the usual Nexium 20mg (but i suggest you take the 40mg if it's really really painful) 2x a day. Eat anything BUT any milk based food, anything sour, citric fruits, chocolates, spinach, COLD drinks, colored drinks, soda or carbonated drinks, yoghurt, coffee.. Guess that's about it more or less. Oh, don't take heavy meals. Have smaller, more frequent meals (pero if you wanna take advantage of the disease and lose weight, smaller meals lang, hehehe).

Hehe.. hindi po ako kasama sa retreat pero share ko lng.. Funny na nangyari din sakin mga nangyari sa inyo at exactly the same time.  Sobrang hassle tlga. Super sakit. Funny thing is, I remember na last thing na kinain ko before it struck are STRAWBERRIES.  I ate a whole bunch... Co-incidence?

yes alive na ako. i had the same symptoms as kat. pero ito kasi normal reaction ng digestive system ko when i experience mild food poisoning eh.

what i do is i just flush the toxins out by taking excessive fluids and as little solid food as possible. i suppose kaya buhay na kami ni kat is because na "labas" na namin ang mga evil toxins sa system. do get checked sa specialist it has been more than a week.

I guess ako yung una nagkasakit sa retreat, i had it the day before we left pa. pero it was weird kasi ako lang yung nagkasakit that time, even before dinner. the doctor in makati med didn't know what was wrong with me. so i can't share much, they just gave me some meds. took me about 5days to get completely well though. hassle. anyway, i hope those who are suffering from the "epidemic" are getting well now.

I didn't eat liempo because naubusan kami ni pia when we were fixing the cakes for the birthday peeps eh... So liempo's out. I ate fish and one other thing (i can't remember, but it's not the tuna) i didn't eat the salted egg either. Marv, i've been diagnosed of hyper acidity back in high school, and it's been recurring in law school. I checked in with a doc in the er nga, but without any concrete effects to the meds, they can't really tell other than what we all know now. The doc put me on a 2 week med and strict small meals diet minus the prohibited foods, but in case i show any symptoms that she gave me, i'll be fine daw. Otherwise, if say i vomit profusely or have a fever, i should contact a gastroenterologist na daw. Crossing my fingers i won't need it of course. :)

or maybe it was something at breakfast. i started feeling this way after eating those salted egg. (speaking of which, marv you owe me a bucket of beer) but i didn't have myself checked. just consulted with a doctor friend and just said eat banana and detoxify. now, hindi na recurring yung pain unlike the past few days.

Im thinking the others had a milder attack (unnoticeable) but tayo since may pre-existing condition (you GERD, me ulcer, dont know about Patring and jess though) mas malakas?
