      Pancho Escaler bio: from (http://quincyimages.com/)

"Imparting knowledge to young people and encouraging them to nurture their creativity takes a whole lot of talent, patience and devotion. Among all the photographers who are participating in this abstraction exhibit, Pancho Escaler is the only one who has been teaching basic photography and creative visual perception for the past 20 years at the Ateneo as well as at the Assumption College.

We can just imagine how many young people’s lives he has positively influenced throughout his teaching career. Aside from this he has photographed countless celebrities and distinguished members of society including a few Philippine Presidents.

He is also a resource person at Photo World  and has served as director of the Camera Club of the Philippines as well as the Advertising Photographers of the Philippines. Pancho is well known as a Beauty and Glamour photographer but few of us know that the reason his portrait work is outstanding is because he captures the character and spirit of his sitters."
