      All,

I'd like to point to additional resources for teaching the nature of
science. These can be purchased in hard copy, or downloaded free as PDFs.

"Teaching Evolution and the Nature of Science"
      http://www.nap.edu/openbook.php?record_id=5787

"Science, Evoluation and Creationism" (new publication)
      http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=11876

"An Ancient Universe: How Astronomers Know the Vast Scale of Cosmic
      Time" http://www.aas.org/education/ancientuniverse.php

The Process of Science: and its Interaction with Non-Scientific Ideas
      http://www.aas.org/education/The_Process_of_Science.php

Likely, some of these are included in Andy's bibliographies. I find
these the most useful in providing teachers (present and future) with
the tools to teach the nature of science.

      Cheers,
      Edna DeVore
