      >The Department of Geography at Miami University (Ohio) is seeking
      >applicants for a graduate research assistantship in their
      M.A. program for
      >the 2008-2009 academic year. The successful applicant will play an
      >important role in a recently funded USDA National Research Initiative
      >(NRI) Competitive Grants Program, Biology of Weedy and Invasive Species in
      >Agroecosystems Grant to study the effect of landscape structure on
      >invasion dynamics of the invasive shrub Lonicera maackii (Amur
      >Honeysuckle) in southwest Ohio. The graduate student will be encouraged to
      >develop a thesis directly related to this work.

      >Minimum qualifications: 1) Bachelors degree in geography, environmental
      >science, ecology, or related field AND 2) experience with remote sensing
      >and image processing software. Field- and GPS experience (Trimble) are a plus.

      >Funding includes a tuition waiver, academic year stipend (approximately
      >$11,600), summer stipend of $2045, and funding for research-related
      >expenses. The assistantship has funding available for two years, with
