GRACE Heritage together with the National Geographic Society will be
honoring the nominees and special mention films of the 2005 US ASEAN
Film, Video & Photography Festival. Come and join us! Support these
very talented filmmakers who will be in town just for the day. Meet
with them and find out what's their story behind the making of the
film. It is with your attendance that they will be encouraged in the
      future.

      About the Festival
      http://www.thegraceheritage.org/filmfest/2005_nominees.html

Southeast Asia is one of the most culturally rich regions in the
world. Each country carries its own unique traditions and speaks
hundreds of dialects. The beautiful tropical landscape, the
ethnically diverse people and the distinctive cultures have made
Southeast Asia an extraordinary place to explore and so easy to
love. Unfortunately, the latest terrorist attack in the region has
tarnished the region's positive image. The GRACE Heritage is
determined to actively participate in restoring the region's
cultural wealth through the US-ASEAN Film, Video and Photography
Festival. Only when we continue to promote ASEAN culture through the
creative lens of young and talented individuals that the world will
treasure Southeast Asia in this difficult time.

      Endorsement:

The embassies of ASEAN countries in the United States endorse the
Festival as a commendable initiative and provide assistance in
promoting this event to their respective communities.
      Our Objectives:

To be the first independent film, video and photography festival to
promote Southeast Asian cultures in the United States. To provide a
venue for individuals of Southeast Asian descent to showcase their
talents in film and photography. To encourage people of all
nationalities to explore Southeast Asian cultures and heritage.
