      Hernandez, David, wr. and art. "Book One; 'The Beginning'." The Gothic Scrolls of Drayven No. 1 (Boca Raton, FL: Davdez Arts, Inc., Dec. 1997).

      Section entitled "A Guide to the Gothic Scrolls" notes the following:

      SEARC: Modern day socialite, Searec runs the "Red Grail" nightclub in downtown Chicago. Drayven [series protagonist and first vampire] first became friends with Searec in the Dark Ages. Drayven and Searec form the Knights Templar hoping that if they were to drink from the Holy Grail, they would be cured of their dark curse. [. . .]
