I had to think about this for a while, but I've decided that Bob Layton and Dick Giordano's "Dark Knight of the Round Table" Elseworlds was the worst, because it was such a disappointment. Layton was involved with the classic Iron Man/Dr. Doom Camelot story, and the idea of "Arthurian Batman" could be so interesting. But instead it was boring and simplistic. I'm sure that Michael and Alan, who have read far more than me, will have far worse horror stories. But this one was just tragic in its failure.

Your comment, "That was probably the most disappointing comic I've ever read in my life." has got me wondering just what the WORST Arthurian comics we have each been dissapointed with would be!

Thanks for another great tip, Michael!  And I agree with you 100% about the recent return of the Knights of Pendragon in Revolutionary War.  That was probably the most disappointing comic I've ever read in my life.
