Correct. Our district has chosen to do performance based, as we have
done in our grading system for years. I would be interested to see the
test written by your district. Is there any way that you could send it
      to me?

Now in Oklahoma the districts have a choice over how
they assess in the arts and they get to make their own
assessments. The "assessment" is supposed to be given
to grades 3-8 and can be performance based or
traditional. My district has a traditional test that
was created by the district and the results are
reported to the state department at the end of the
      school year. - Mikel
