The Indianapolis Art Center is continually looking for talented watercolor artists to teach new classes. Art Center Instructors will promote and nurture the education of students by planning and tailoring courses of study; providing a safe environment conducive to learning; keeping students informed about various Art Center efforts and other opportunities. Instructors must be friendly and enthusiastic ambassadors of the Indianapolis Art Center’s mission and provide exemplary customer service to our students and patrons.
Possesses the proficiency (either through education and/or experience) to engage students of all abilities and teach concepts for specific courses taught.
A combination of education, training and experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree in art, art education or a related field plus two years of experience in the field of education.
Art experience such as exhibitions, commissions or professional work. A personal art portfolio may be requested.
