The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) seeks a contract Manager/Lead Instructor to direct MOLAA's annual Summer Art Camp and a bilingual contract Teaching Artist to facilitate the fine arts workshop component of the camp.
The Summer Art Camp is a four week dual immersion camp and runs Monday-Friday from July 9-August 3, 2012 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. with additional childcare hours from 8 a.m.-9 a.m. and 5 p.m.-6 p.m. MOLAA's Summer Art Camp provides participants with a safe, creative, bilingual learning environment in which to learn about Latin American Art and Culture.
The Manager/ Lead Instructor will supervise all Summer Art Camp activities, including field trips and organize the weekly "Open Gallery".
The Teaching Artist will work a two hour session (plus set-up and clean-up) four days a week. The Teaching Artist will prepare and teach the Fine Art workshop component of Summer Art Camp.
