      You could try color cubes…the 6 sides correspond to the 6 segment color wheels and students have the opportunity to move a bit as they cut out, fold and assemble the cubes.

      How to demonstrate color theory?...have each student figure out a symbol or geometric element for each side, and then color it and its background with color complement pairing.

      If they can’t figure this out on their own, simply download my template and add your own design suggestions. When students have finished, you could suspend the cubes from the ceiling using fishing line or thread for a cool environmental sculpture look…and have the kids who finish early do the cube hanging, arranging for everyone else.
