kids add hair.  Eyes can be anything - ping pong balls (a little$)
googley eyes set on cardboard attached to top of mouth works, too.

      Hello
I would like to have my grade 6 french class students create 2 puppets each that they could use to practice using the French expressions they have learned in class. I don't want the puppets very large or fragile--something they could keep in their desk would be ideal. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am not an art specialist.
      Thanks everyone!
      Rhonda
