    salt on wet watercolour is always a hit for various effects! The kind that comes with a grinder seems to work best.... also you can use that paper magic clay

      salt on wet watercolour is always a hit for various effects! The kind that comes with a grinder seems to work best.... also you can use that paper magic clay or model magic on canvas to create ocean ripples and texture then paint over that.
