You're right - these lists are great places to find ideas and actual,
living, breathing art mentors. Don't discount the value of setting up
some classroom visits on your own though. Many principals are willing
to let you travel if you find someone in a nearby district (or even your
own district if it's big enough to have some diversity) to visit. If
you have an early release day you can set up your own wandering schedule
and see some neat things.
That'd be the next best thing - enjoy!
