Class Particpation Rubric
- (Hi Grace - I just noticed my typo in my subject line on my message to
you -- good thing you knew what I meant...."creating a participation
rubric" - my fingers don't know what they are doing sometimes. Grace I want
to share your Perfect Rubric then with the world when you get it done. I
have not been saving responses to your post. We will just say it is a
collaboration from Getty ArtsEdNet....and will link to Marvin's site is you
use his ideas.)
Dear Art Educators,
Pardon me folks while I talk to Grace at the same time...Grace Hall (Getty
list) is working on a class Participation Rubric for high school art
criticism. I am going to ask her to share her finished product with us all.
She is collecting some very good advice from Getty list members. I was just
curious to see what I could find "out there".
Please share any files you already have created.
Here is a good Class Participation Rubric for Elementary/Middle School
Got to this page so you can add your info:
I hope those of you who do have discipline problems will be able to adapt
this. Participation DOES have to count -- for the sake of the rest of the
students who ARE behaving - but can not get their work done.
Well what do you know - I just followed a link on one site --and it took me
to Marvin Bartel's:
http://www.goshen.edu/art/ed/rubric3.html (I gave it to Grace already)
Here is one for oral presentations:
These page always comes up anytime I do a rubric search for art:
(this particular link I think is "high jacked" from a different site - since
the images are gone - and Cleveland school are not Ontario Schools --
I know there are more out there-- this is just from first page Google.
Thanks Grace for getting the wheels turning on this one.
