which was a black and white movie, but seems to have been re-released as The Red Balloon in colour

Another teacher in my building was looking for a photograph.  Her music students are studying a piece of music called the Red Balloon and she thought she remembered seeing a photograph that may have inspired the song.  All she knows is that it is a black and white photo of a little child with maybe? a grandpa and the child is holding a balloon, which is the only thing in color and it's red. She doesn't know the name of the photo but she thought it was well known.  Does anyone know of a famous photo that sounds like this one?

      Thanks,
