      Deputy Director
      Lux Art Institute is looking for a full time Deputy Director to oversee the organization in all areas of day-to-day operations and staff management.  The Deputy Director functions as the Chief Operations Officer and the acting Director in the absence of the Director.  As a senior member of the Lux staff the Deputy Director works with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to strategically position the organization for growth and sustainability.  This position reports to the Director.

      Education Coordinator
      This position reports to the Education Director and exhibits a true commitment to the mission of the organization:  “Lux Art Institute is redefining the museum experience to make art more accessible and personally meaningful. At Lux, you don’t just see finished works of art; you see the artistic process firsthand, engaging with internationally recognized artists in a working studio environment.”  The Education Coordinator is a vital member of the Lux Education department, overseeing administration, scheduling and coordination of all of Lux’s education programs. The Education Coordinator also serves as a lead instructor for all onsite programs including tours, field trips, summer classes, family workshops and assists with Valise Project as needed.

      Visiting Arts Instructor
      Lux Art Institute is seeking visiting instructors on a contract basis to plan and implement education programs in the visual arts. Working with the education director, visiting art instructors are practicing artists who possess a strong commitment to working with audiences of all types. Proposals for programs should be submitted using the template in the link below.

      Photography Intern
      Lux Art Institute is seeking a Photography Intern to edit and manage image archive, photograph Lux Art Institute’s events and activities, and pursue independent shoots in the exhibition space. Intern will take the lead on organizing Lux’s current collection of images by cataloguing and enhancing photographs. Images are then made available to the Institution's Media Department for promotional purposes and are preserved as part of Lux Art Institute’s Archives. The following duties are dependent on intern availability, interests and skills. Additional opportunities are available to qualified candidates.

      Lux Summer Art Camp 2014 Internship
      Lux Art Institute is looking for enthusiastic and artistic high school and college students to assist with Summer Art Camp 2014. Camp runs from July 7 through August 14.
