Report by CNB                         Photo -  K.N. Karthik                           Date - 24/01/2002

After being in the news for all the reasons due to the fued between the Producer Dhanraj and Upendra, the much awaited movie "H20", is now making news for all the good reasons.

The conflict that had been created by the Producer Dhanraj's complaint about Upendra's non-co-operation for the dubbing of the film "H20" has now been resolved and the film is due to hit the silver screen by the January end or early February.

Gandhinagar people after watching the movie have been thrilled by the way "H20" has come out. There is a strong conviction in the Gandinagar ciricles that the film would be one of the never-before hit in the history of the Kannada films. It's been said that for the Bangalore area only, there is a huge demand for the distribution rights of around 3 crores which is a record for any movie in the history of Bangalore.

Added to that, ace Director Maniratnam, who was here in Bangalore to watch the Premier show of the film has shovered in lavish praises on the film. Expressing his immense satisfaction over the technical brilliance of the film, he has commended the Producer Dhanraj for supporting such a novel concept of using two languages (Kannada & Tamil) in the same movie and he has also praised the brilliant story and screen play by upendra and acting efforts of both Upendra and Prabhu Deva.

Mani Ratnam, the famed South Indian star Director, who had earlier been impressed with Upendra's "Om", "A" and "Upendra", has said that "Controversial Cauvery River Subject" has been handled delicately in the film "H20" and he also opined that the Climax of the film has been one of the best that he has ever seen.

Mani Ratnam was all Praise for "Uppi" for his experimenting ability of the subjects, when every film maker is running behind the "Masala Formula" for success.

So, "H2O" is all ready to set the silver screen ablaze soon.
