OK, that would be great if you could post some stuff on Benveniste's
theories. I had a look at the Wikipedia page on him:

He's done quite a bit on Indo-European language and early comparative
linguistics I see. He's a structuralist, right, following Saussure?
One book I've been reading lately is "The Horse, the Wheel, and
Language," by David Anthony, so that's a little off-topic for this
list, but still pretty interesting to me.
