- Hi all
I have a discussion by my friends concerning the golf between
theoretical and practical reason in Aristotle. There are a lot of
questions here. Can we accept these primary suppositions in
Aristotle philosophy?
1- There shouldn't be two different kind of reason, but two
functions of one cognitive faculty, which is reason.
2- Their difference comes from their field of concerning to and
things that belong to them, i.e. field of theoretical science and
practical science.
.
Which books of Aristotle, in addition to De Anima and his Ethics
Nicomac, has something about this subject? Any other good book in
this issue
Thanks
